Travel Photography  Kit - What to take to New Zealand for Rugby World Cup Trip

The photo component of my kit

Lowepro pro trekker 300 AW - the bag that will hold it all or at least it will hold most and the rest (less-prone-to-breakage stuff) will end up in the checked in baggage. It is a fine backpack.

Canon 7D - great for photos as well as excellent 1080p video
Canon PowerShot S95 Digital Camera - great little point and shoot

Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X - Great wide angle lens for landscape photos
Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8L USM - the work horse lens I will use on the trip
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM - very nice budget telephoto zoom lens

2- 32 gig Transcend 400x CF Cards
2- 32 gig Kingston 266x CF cards

Sigma EF-530 DG ST EO-ETTL II Flash For Canon DSLR

GITZO G1097 BASALT WEEKEND 3 SEC. TRIPOD
Benro B-2 Pro Camera Ball Head
Benro PC-0 Panaromic Base

Hoya Neutral Density HMC ND400 77mm Filter (9 stop ND filter)
Hoya 77mm PRO1 DIGITAL Circular Polarizer Filter

Intervalometer

The video component of my kit

Canon Vixia HFS10

Manfrotto 055CXV3, 701HDV Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit - Tall and light tripod with a nice video head

Rode Stereo Videomic - much better sound than the built in mic on camcorder. This is a wide stereo mic

Rode Videomic - is a shotgun mono mic that works nicely to hone in on the subject and ignore a lot of the surrounding noise

2- Lexar 32GB Professional SDHC Class 10

The editing machine for the trip

I will be using my wife's new laptop... hopefully it is road and video worthy.
