Tegan accomplished a lot this weekend at her Feis!
Tegan danced on Friday with her friend from school Nicola, they finished 1st in Two Hand Dance U7 category!
On Sunday Tegan competed in 2 U6 dances, Reel and Light Jig, both of which she placed 1st!
She competed in 2 more dances in U7 category Slip Jig and Single Jig, of which she placed 3rd in Single Jig!
In her trophy dances there were about 18 competitors in her U7 Reel and about 25 competitors in the U8 Slip Jig. She didn't place in the trophy dances however she did the dances well and hung in there till the end. What a great accomplishment!
Tegan was so excited and happy to be competing at this Feis. The 1st place finishes really made her proud of her ability. She was showing off her medals to everyone. It was very nice to have all the support of her mates from school, teachers and parents alike.
