No No Vuvuzelas

Found this tidbit in the news and I for one am so happy that we won't have to put up with that racket!  That deafening tone found at the World Cup games in South Africa will not continue its presence in New Zealand next year.  Vuvuzelas have been banned from use at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

"The Rugby World Cup's official website states that any air horns or sound amplifiers will be prohibited from games as will musical instruments and whistles."

Oh and in South African news...

"As the 2011 Rugby World Cup looms large as the ultimate goal of the rugby world it sees South Africans in equal measures caught between defending their title and ensuring hosts, New Zealand, in turn are thwarted in their quest to scoop the coveted William Webb Ellis trophy as they did at home in 1987.

To this day, many South Africans claim 1987 was the Springboks Webby for the taking (if not isolated by Apartheid) and if's and but's aside, 2011 is a rare opportunity to maybe justify these claims."

This should make for a very interesting Tri Nations heading  towards RWC 2011.

If the All Blacks and the Springboks are unbeaten in their pool matches, then they would face off in a semi-final game.  Who would face either of them for the final?
