There is even a rugby game played in kilts. Sounds like wicked fun!
Our friends have finally secured tickets to the games for their family and have booked their airline tickets and campervan!
Now we just have to wait a few more weeks to book our tickets due to our extended stay and currently having no funds to put towards tickets. Our friends have booked their departure a day earlier than I was anticipating leaving. We may alter our plans to leave on the same flight so that Tegan can play with their kids on the flight down to NZ.
This would also give us an extra day to fit in our activities in the Far North and take in the festivities in Waipu.
