Thursday, October 13th, 2011 and Friday October 14th, 2011 are the dates for the Hawke's Bay Maori Business Network's Global Sevens Tournament. HBMBN is hosting the tournament as a celebration of the sport of rugby and the importance of the international visitors enjoying the RWC and all that New Zealand offers its global friends.
The dates set for the tournament are just prior to the 2011 Rugby World Cup semifinal games. The organizers are hoping to entice visitors to the tournament prior to their trip home from Auckland and those traveling to the semifinal games in Auckland on the 15th and 16th of October.
