So, stop using it and purchase some more credits prior to going over bandwidth or pay for it dearly. 100MB would then add up to $100, when you can buy it prepaid for $10. Why do they gouge you like this. I know I couldn't operate my business like that.
$30 a month will provide you with an additional 512 MB of use and this would be a monthly charge and would expire at the end of a month unlike the 2gigs lasting 2 months.
The USB modem stick works on 3G and 3G extended.
For us this package is perfect, it means a hell of a lot more freedom while traveling, from what I have seen, none of the places we are staying offer free internet... one offers a free hour. I have heard complaints on the speed of hotel and hotspots. Internet cafes have their own issues with security, maybe not so much in New Zealand, but you can never be too sure. It will be fantastic to be able to access internet in some of the remote DOC campsites we are visiting. Our blog will be sure of regular posts with lovely photos and video from our trip.
