Samoa epic win against Wallabies

Manu Samoa played with heart and soul today against the No.2 rated team in the world tonight beating the Wallabies by a score of 32-23.

Australia surely thought that this game would be a cakewalk and that thinking has cost them dearly.  The Samoans punished the Wallabies with their thumping tackles and ball control.  It wasn't the cleanest game as there were plenty of penalties.  RWC 2011 Pool D will be a little more concerned about the 10th rated team in the world.

Many were concerned about the fitness of the Samoan team, but that was buried with tonight's effort.  Australia may have just taken the Super Rugby final with the Reds, but the team that played tonight looked a little worn and struggled to keep up with the intensity brought by the visiting side.

Check out this fantastic try by Alesana Tuilagi of Samoa!

Well done Samoa!  You have just made the Rugby World Cup speculations more interesting!
