Abbotsford Rugby 7s tournament is the main feature article of this issue and it details the growth of this event and the spectacle it has become.  In just 3 years it has become the largest sevens event north of Las Vegas and attracts teams from around the globe.

The Fijian Ambassadors won the 2011 Abbotsford Rugby 7s by a score of 33-28 over the Canadian Dog River Howlers contingent.

"In other International Division action, Ratu Filise – another Fijian side – won the Plate final, edging Burnaby Lake 26-21. The Bayside Tigersharks won the Bowl final, beating South Seas Connection 21-7.

In the Elite Men's Division, Old Puget Sound blew out the Bayside Fiji Selects 35-5 in the title game. Burnaby Lake won the Women's Division, topping Capilano 22-12 in the final." - Abbynews.com
Teams from Fiji, Kenya, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States played in this years tournament.
