Black Ferns - World Champions!

I watched the game live on Saturday and it wasn't a fun game to watch.  I thought the referring was disappointing and made the game unenjoyable.  The Aussie referee was eager to punish the Ferns for not getting away in rucks and not releasing even when they were getting the job done correctly in my opinion. 

I am happy the Black Ferns won as they were dominant in their gameplay.

England has a nice squad and they, on perhaps another day, might have pulled an upset even without the penalities in their favour.

Carla Hohepa was so enjoyable to watch as she weaved around opponents!  I am a fan and only wished I was able to see some of the Canadian Women's games as none were broadcast on Setanta Sports this time.

Well done All Blacks!

Fantastic front row work on Saturday by the All Blacks.  Compared to the games against England, Wales and Ireland this was a much better effort. 

Springboks were a little naughty on the pitch and they will have to clean up their game if they want a better rematch next Saturday. 

I really liked how the All Blacks moved the ball, they found the defensive breaks consistently by swinging it out wide.  It was a good game and setting up for a greater game in the rematch in 7 days. 

The haka was fantastic last night!
