Save your money

I plan on taking my Garmin 60cX with us to help navigate the islands.  I just did a web search and found a Open GPS Project for Garmin GPS of New Zealand.  This is awesome!  I can download the maps, place them on my SD card and pop them into my gps unit.  Bingo!  I am most definitely going to test it out prior to hoping on the plane.  Stay tuned for the update.

The website boast useful information on geotagging, favourite places, supported devices, etc...  well done.

Hopefully I will be able to get maps onto this blog as a way to log our travels.
