Air New Zealand's All Black Airbus A320 lands in Canada

The newly built and custom All Black painted Air New Zealand A320 landed in Auckland on February 1st, 2011 and onboard was the All Black's captain Richie McCaw.

The black paint job sports a silver fern on the tail and the slogan "Crazy about Rugby" along the side of the plane.  All this was done in support of the All Black's Rugby World Cup campaign.

The plane made its first journey from Airbus's manufacturing facility in Toulouse, France to Hamburg, Germany where its cabin interior fit-out was completed.

The A320 then made the journey from Hamburg to Auckland, NZ via Gander (Canada), Denver, Los Angeles and Samoa where McCaw joined the flight.

Ritchie McCaw and the plane's cabin crew were welcomed by an official ceremony that included a haka.

I assume that the plane landed in Gander, Nfld at night, because there is not a mention of the planes arrival.
