Raw uncut reality series delivers hope through rugby enriching experiences

I found this progamme on YouTube produced by Sky Sports and Rugby Performance UK. It recruits young people who have found themselves without employment, in trouble with the law or unable to adapt to societal rules and regulations and proceeds to enable them with life skills through rugby union training.

The programme is called the "School of Hard Knocks", it is an uncensored look into the lives of those who gain admittance into the program to effectively strengthen their life skills for employment readiness and opportunity.

The ‘School of Hard Knocks’ is a programme that uses the game of Rugby Union to teach participants important values and lessons that will enable them to take positive and definite steps towards employment. It also powerfully addresses issues of health, crime and citizenship.

Rugby Performance UK's foundation is the the teaching of rugby specific athletic development programmes to schools, clubs and and individuals through their strength and skills training.

Our coaches have been involved in the physical and athletic development of young people for over 15 years in a variety of different environments. They have a proven track record of innovation, and success in terms of propelling players on to achieve their rugby ambitions.
