RWC 2011 Fiji Rugby Jersey Design

After seeing the South Africa RWC 2011 jersey, I thought I would see what else is out there...  Fiji released their RWC 2011 jersey design way back in September 2010.  This was  the same time that Rugby Canada supposedly unveiled their RWC 2011 design, yet we still have not seen it.

The new KooGa jersey design has traditional Fijian cultural elements, the Fijian emblem, IRB RWC 2011 emblem and beyond the appealing design it is supposedly the most advanced jersey in the world…

The carbon element within the jersey will provide it with a number of interesting features:

Temperature control – During tests when players were wearing Carbon jerseys their temperature variation turned out to be three times lower than the one taken when they were wearing a 100% polyester jersey. The fabric promotes perspiration and moisture evaporates faster.

Breathing - While training, the respiratory parameters of the players wearing Carbon jerseys turned out to be positively modified. The oxygen need decreased by three litres per minute and the respiratory rate diminished as well.

Good for the heart - The heart rate resulted to be by 4 heartbeats per minute lower than in those subjects wearing a 100% polyester jersey: in a 4 hours' run you can save up to 1000 heartbeats per minute.

Prevents cramp - with a Carbon jersey on while exercising, the lactic acid concentration in capillary blood proved to decrease by about 12%.

Can be worn again and again and again and… - Thanks to Carbon’s special structure, its precious features remain unaltered through time. The conductive material continuous filament guarantees the product effectiveness even after many washes.

Game jerseys are worth a cool $500FJD, that equates to about $270 CAD.

Very sharp looking jerseys!  Hope the Canadian jersey look as good... what would our traditional elements be?
