Russia fought well and were in control of the game for at least 40 minutes on Wednesday.  The score was 18-15 at the end of the first half in favour of the Russians.  20 minutes passed before Canada scored the try of the evening, Mike Scholz completed a one handed pass out of a tackle to Munro for the try.

Chauncey O'Toole sealed the victory against Russia when O’Toole intercepted Alexander Voytov’s pass and easily ran up the sideline to score the try and securing a spot in the final against either England or Samoa.

England Saxons play Samoa at 11:55 am (EST) Sunday, the game will be shown on Setanta Sports Canada.

Canada defeated Italy 26-12 last Saturday and Russia 34-18 to clinch a spot in the final. O'Toole was named man of the match in both games.
