Rugby Challenge PS3 | XBOX 360 | PC | Vita Update

The Sidhe Interactive camp must feel a little deflated after trying, but not securing licensing to Springboks and South African Super Rugby teams for their highly anticipated title Rugby Challenge.  South African Rugby Union held out for something greater than Sidhe Interactive could offer and perhaps disappointing all South African Rugby Fans that would have likely purchased this title and those that are still going to purchase it.  The description of the Rugby Challenge on official website still states that Super Rugby teams are part of the licensed teams, I guess they just meant the Australian and New Zealand Super Rugby teams...

"Rugby Challenge will include the All Blacks, Qantas Wallabies, ITM Cup, Aviva Premiership, and Super Rugby teams amongst other licensed teams and competitions, and will feature multiplayer online play, a multi-year franchise mode, a tutorial mode for novice players, extensive customisation options, and dynamic real-time commentary by Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall.  More features, content, platforms and details will be announced in the future."

The only upside to the news is that there will be an extensive player editor that will allow gamers to tailor players to at least resemble the actual South African players. Sidhe Interactive released a video of the actual player editor this week and the end of the video has a cut scene from a try scored in game with the newly edited player.
