Samoa tickets Rugby World Cup 2011 going quickly

Since Samoa's epic win against Australia last weekend, tickets have been in high demand for Samoan games at this years Rugby World Cup.

The 32-23 win for Samoa against the Wallabies was a shocker.  It is likely that the Wallabies were ill prepared for the intensity that was delivered by the Samoans.  Sure it was a less than elite squad fielded by the Wallabies, but that is just an excuse now.

What the Samoans did was create a buzz in the rugby community prior to the RWC 2011.  They have suggested from their play that the Wallabies have weaknesses that can be exploited.  Australia dropped in the IRB world rankings to 3rd behind the Springboks.

Samoa is in pool "D" with Wales, South Africa, Namibia and Fiji and since the win against Australia ticket sales have been brisk to the point that the Samoa vs. South Africa game at North Harbour Stadium has now been "exhausted" after the win.

The Samoa vs. Fiji and Samoa vs. Wales matches are also selling very well.

The Samoa vs. South Africa match is the fourth Rugby World Cup 2011 game to have its "allocation exhausted".

The other matches that are "exhausted" are the Rugby World Cup final, the New Zealand vs. France match and the France vs. Canada match.
