Kiwis are confident that All Blacks will win RWC 2011

70.4 percent of Kiwis believe that the All Blacks will win the Rugby World in a recent poll.

It was at the inaugural competition held in New Zealand and Australia in 1987 that the All Blacks last held the Webb Ellis Cup high over there heads. The 24 year drought will be challenged this year and Kiwis are backing their team.

There is a lot of faith in the team and in particular Richie McCaw and Dan Carter.

"If either McCaw or Carter are out the chances will be diminished, markedly.", former All Blacks Sir Colin Meads

Also from the same poll were the results for The All Blacks greatest adversaries in the upcoming RWC.

The poll revealed that a massive 45.5 percent of New Zealanders believed that the Wallabies would be the All Blacks greatest threat, followed by the Springboks on 24.7 percent, while England and France captured 8 and 5.5 percent of votes respectively.

The Springboks I think are regrouping after this last season and I am looking forward to the upcoming tests.  I know they will be stepping up their game and it is going to make for some serious rugby.

If the Wallabies can continue building on the strengths they brought to the pitch last year it is going to be a great year for them as well.  They have great fitness and proved they can match and even better the All Blacks, as seen last year.

Six Nations rugby soon starts up again, here are some of the upcoming matches

Italy v IrelandSat, Feb 5Stadio Flaminio

Also, there are the New Zealand Sevens which are only 26 days away!  I sure do hope to see some of these games.
