Vancouver - Auckland: September 9, 2011

Our flight to New Zealand  is direct from Vancouver to Auckland.  The flight is about 14 hours in length and we fly through the evening, arriving in Auckland at 5:15 in the morning.  

We have already selected our seats and I just wanted to check to see how many seats haven't been selected yet.  Turns out there are 137 open seats on this flight.  This doesn't mean that these are all available as some people likely haven't gone and selected their seats yet. 

There is a neat little site called SeatGuru that informs you of the quality of each of the seats on specific model of plane and airline operator.  I provided the link to the 747-400 (744), this is the plane we'll be on for the flight to NZ.
